Quadruple Marker Test – Third Trimester

The quadruple marker screening test is a common screening procedure performed during prenatal care. The test does not pose any risk of miscarriage or other complications associated with pregnancy. The screening for the quadruple marker is done on a volunteer basis. The results of the test are only able to tell you whether or not you have an increased risk of carrying a baby with Down syndrome; they cannot confirm whether or not your child actually has the condition. You have the option of following the quad test with another test that is more conclusive if the risk level is moderate or high.

List of Tests Included:

  • Beta HCG
  • Unconjugated Estriol (E3)
  • Inhibin A

Cancer Markers – Alpha Feto Protien (AFP)
