Nutrition

Your baby’s growth is affected by what you eat, so it’s important to keep up healthy eating habits during this exciting time. Although it may not always be easy to stick to healthy choices during pregnancy, it is essential to do so because good eating habits are essential. Because of this, our team is putting in a lot of effort to come up with a nutrition plan that will keep both you and your baby strong and healthy.

At Miracle Hospital, we first get a complete picture of your current eating routine by gathering as much information as possible. Once we have a better understanding of the choices you are currently making, we will provide you with recommendations for a healthier diet that are both safe and precise.

The importance of Healthy Nutrition During Pregnancy?

There is no doubt that both mothers and their children need to eat well in order to stay healthy. Inadequate maternal nutrition has been linked to a wide variety of unfavorable conditions, many of which are not only hazardous to the health of the mother but also have the potential to have a long-term impact on the health of the child. Inadequate nutrition can lead to a number of health problems, the most common of which are gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and pre-eclampsia. Also, both pre-eclampsia (PE) and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) are linked to a higher chance of getting heart disease in the future. Because of this, it is very important to take steps to either stop these conditions from happening or treat them before they get worse.

A type of diabetes known as gestational diabetes can develop during pregnancy in pregnant women who have never been diagnosed with diabetes before. Even though GDM symptoms usually don’t show up until the second half of a woman’s pregnancy, doctors have to test for it when a woman is 24 or 28 weeks pregnant. The good news is that gestational diabetes can be kept under control by following a healthy diet plan and getting regular exercise. This is where the expertise of a registered dietitian comes in handy.

At Miracle Hospital, our team of expert nutritionists and dietitians collaborates to devise eating plans that are nutritious and good for the mother as well as the developing child.

There is another condition known as pre-eclampsia that can cause illness in both the mother and the infant, and in extreme circumstances, even death. Because what you eat can make you more likely to get pre-eclampsia, you should talk to a dietitian who can give you the nutritional advice you need to protect not only your health but also the health of your unborn child.

Our dietitians would love the opportunity to work with you if you want to cultivate a positive relationship with food that you can then pass on to your developing child as they get older.

Our nutritionists and dietitians are well-versed in, among other things:

Prenatal eating:

Find a healthy and sustainable way to regulate your eating habits that will provide nutritional support not only for you but also for your bay.

Postnatal eating:

After giving birth to your child, you will need to make peace with your body and get started on your road to recovery.

Dietitians at Miracle Hospital, will design a diet for you that will help your body perform at its peak so that you can have the healthiest and most successful birth possible. Through a flexible and body-positive approach, we give our clients the tools they need to eat in a way that is good for their babies while they are pregnant.
